E.1 COMMUNICATION PLAN AND ITS ADOPTION
Status: on going
This action includes all activities related to user awareness on the issues addressed by the project. For the dissemination of the project and its results, a publication will be carried out with the aim of disseminating a complete technical summary of the objectives and results of the project, the methods of implementation, the tools used and the scientific-technical bases on which the project is been set.
There will also be several bulletin boards and signs in the project territories, with the aim of informing and sensitizing all visitors to the protected area (local operators, users, tourists, owners, farms, etc.) and in particular, all those who will attend the sectors affected by the interventions, on the theme of the project and on the aims of the interventions.
There will also be a brochure that will contain a brief summary of the project, as well as a summary of the project (Layman's report) that will be used for demonstration and dissemination during public activities organized by the beneficiaries. The summary will aim to present the project, the objectives, the actions undertaken and the results to the public.
To sensitize citizenship, there will also be a series of short video clips, which will briefly illustrate the project themes and interventions, and which will be condensed into a single video at the end of the project.
D.2 SOCIO-ECONOMIC IMPACT MONITORING
Status: not started
As part of action D.2, the socio-economic repercussions of the project actions on local communities and on the various subjects directly and indirectly involved in the implementation of the project will be monitored and evaluated, through the administration of questionnaires to those directly involved, ie tourists, students and other categories.
D.1 PROJECT EFFECT MONITORING
Status: not started
The monitoring of the C2 action on the definition of good practices for habitat 1120* conservation (mooring plan) will be carried out by checking the number of required mooring permits, and the number of accesses to the portal and related registration. The monitoring of the C.3 action will be carried out by counting the eco-sustainable moorings made and the number of "obsolete" moorings removed for each protected area. The effectiveness of the C.5 action concerning Posidonia transplantation will be carried out by measuring prairie parameters at transplantation sites, and at sites where dead bodies have been removed, in order to verify the success of re-vegetation operations. The monitoring of the C.4 action on sustainable management in Posidonia beachta will be carried out through interviews with the local authorities that manage the coastal strip and its users, to check if the users' perception towards the banquettes stores has improved or changed compared to before project interventions.
C.7 MALTA LAB: CREATION OF TERRITORIAL AGREEMENTS FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE SEAFOREST MODEL
Status: not started
This action foresees an activity preliminary to the concrete replication of the project strategy in the territory of Malta and potential other Mediterranean partners.
Schematically, the action aims to (1) implement the approach of the project and the standards defined with it to the Maltese national authorities (actions aimed at reducing the erosion of the posidonia and the ways of creating the carbon credit market). ; (2) to encourage the public and private sectors to identify potential resources to be used for the investments required by the SEA FOREST strategy; (3) actively involve the territorial authorities responsible for the management of marine areas in Malta, through the signing of a public / private legal agreement.
